This is such a wonderful verse that outlines how we should try to live as followers of Jesus. “Try” is the appropriate word here. Without the Holy Spirit, we are lucky to last an hour or two with all of these. But, God has wired us to feel joy and contentment when we follow Jesus and this passage reminds us what that is all about. Love one another. And yes, love yourself, too!
